The purpose of INSiDR is to provide the industry and research community with cutting edge knowledge in digital retailing based on expert knowledge in either marketing/management or data science.
Business partnership
Business partnership with INSiDR consists of partially funding a PhD candidate for 5 years, during which a thesis project, with high business relevance, is carried out. The PhD candidate is employed by the company, and admitted to PhD studies at Jönköping University or University of Skövde. The graduate school is administrated by the University of Borås.
The project commenced with several industrial partners, where PhD students started working in autumn 2018: Ellos Group, Eton, Frankenius Equity Group (Gina Tricot), Hall Media and Odyssey.
Funding model
The PhD program is co-funded between the Knowledge Foundation (KK-stiftelsen), University of Borås, Jönköping University, University of Skövde and industrial partners according to a specific contract based on individual arrangements and degree of responsibilities.
