In the end, Hall Media wants to increase conversion rate among their users. The PhD project will, consequently, focus on methods and algorithms for data analysis. From a technical perspective, response modelling and clustering are potential solutions that can be used to gain customer insights.

An academic background in anthropology and/or behavioural sciences is prioritized.

Doktorandprojektet utgör en del av Sparbanken Sjuhärads strategiska digitaliseringssatsning syftande till att utveckla nya affärsmodeller. I projektet skall doktoranden, främst med hjälp av algoritmer som utnyttjar maskininlärning, finna beteendemönster i bankens kunddata. På så sätt möjliggörs högkvalitativa riktade erbjudanden till bankens privat- och företagskunder. Den övergripande målsättningen med projektet är för banken att utveckla spetsteknologi som leder till fler affärer och nöjdare kunder. Projektet kommer ha starkt stöd från bankens verksamhet, vilket innebär att doktoranden ges stora möjligheter att utveckla, pröva och utvärdera olika tekniker för den finansiella sektorn i direkt samarbete med branschexpertis.

– Targeted and relevant product recommendations grounded in the analysis of previous purchases of the individual end customer as well as the consuming behavior of similar end customers, or measurable national or international consuming trends.
– Consumer Returns Analysis focuses on an accurate estimation of the likelihood that a customer will return a previously bought item
